Гумеров Эмиль: "Ну, что ж. Будем считать, что у Вас этой статистики нет и никогда не было, а факты говорят об обратном - христианство слава Богу развивается".
Очень интересные данные из Австралии:
Affiliates of religions other than Christianity have shown the largest proportional increases since the 1996 Census, although they still comprised a relatively small proportion of the population in 2001 (5%). Stated affiliation to Buddhism increased by 79%, to Hinduism by 42%, to Islam by 40% and to Judaism by 5%. ...
In 2001, 82% of Australians aged 65 years and over identified themselves as Christian. This proportion was lower among younger age groups, with 60% of 18-24 year olds having identified themselves as Christian. Indeed, while 15% of all Christian affiliates were aged 65 years and over, 8% were aged between 18 and 24 years. In contrast, the other religions have a younger age profile. While 6% of Buddhist affiliates were aged 65 years and over in 2001, 13% were aged between 18 and 24 years. The largest group of Buddhist affiliates was 35-44 year olds. Similar trends were evident for Hindu and Muslim affiliates. In the 2001 Census, people in the 18-24 years age group were the most likely to state that they had no religion (20%). http://www.abs.gov.au/ausstats/abs@....E00053FA3?Open

George Barna of The Barna Group:
"There does not seem to be revival taking place in America. Whether that is measured by church attendance, born again status, or theological purity, the statistics simply do not reflect a surge of any noticeable proportions." George Barna. 2
"...evangelicals remain just 7% of the adult population. That number has not changed since the Barna Group began measuring the size of the evangelical public in 1994....less than one out of five born again adults (18%) meet the evangelical criteria. " (N = 1003; margin of error = ±3.2%). 13
"...the number of Protestants soon will slip below 50 percent of the nation's population." National Opinion Research Center's General Social Survey, 2004.
From 1972 to 1993, the General Social Survey of the National Opinion Research Center found that Protestants constituted about 63% of the population. This declined to 52% in 2002. Protestants are expected to slip to a minority position between 2004 and 2006. 11 "Respondents were defined as Protestant if they said they were members of a Protestant denomination, such as Episcopal Church or Southern Baptist Convention. The category included members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and members of independent Protestant churches." However, the data may be deceiving. Some subjects simply reported themselves as "Christians" and were not counted as Protestants since they were not affiliated with a Protestant denomination.
