When the night has come, the Holy Spirit is taken out of the way and then nobody will be able to heal.
John 9:4. I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work.
This passage of Scripture is very profound to me and it took me some time before I could see for myself what I am going to present to you. For many years, I did not see the depth of this verse as I do now.
In John 9:4, when Christ speaks of working the works of "him that sent me, while it is day," we can see that "him" means, of course, the Father. At the time Christ was speaking these words, the day was still in progress, but the night was coming. At the present moment, I am not too concerned about expounding on the nature of all the works referred to in this verse except for one important point of focus -- very important works were obviously going on, and they were going on while it was still day. Such as, miraculous works of healing. Especially works of healing.
Christ is telling us then in John 9:4 that we can know if it is still day for as long as miraculous healings are going on by the will of God though the Holy Spirit. Since the time of Christ and through to the very last days, there will be one day followed by one night. Not two or three different days and nights. Only one day will happen and when it ends then one night will begin, that is it. When the day ends, and the night begins, Christ is saying that absolutely nobody, namely the Apostles or Christ himself will be able to do the things of the Heavenly Father in respect to healings by means of the gift of healing.
Night was already approaching at the time Christ said the words of John 9:4. Without a doubt, now 2000 years later, night is no longer just approaching but it actually is here ... with midnight drawing nearer. We are currently in the night and because we are in the night this means that, in the words of Christ, "no man may work." How then is it that we are still hearing of healings going on, especially in conjunction with those who say they are baptized with the Holy Spirit? How is it that those who say they are baptized with the Holy Spirit -- and claim to have the gift of healing -- still seem to do those things? How are men still working in the night if Christ said no one could??
I choose to believe Christ when He says during the night no man will be able to do such works! In our present days, if works appear to be going on, then those doing such works were not sent by the Father to do them and, furthermore, people are definitely not doing these works through the Holy Spirit! So what is going on here?
It has become obvious to me that since the beginning of the night a delusion slowly and gradually began to form and grow. In its fullness, this delusion will arrive as a cleverly crafted and fully grown thief in the night by the time of the arrival of the Antichrist. This is described in 2Thessalonians 2:11 that reads "And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie."
These healings, no matter where they will be or through whom they will occur, will be so much a part of the strong delusion that it will be very hard to convince anyone that they are believing a lie. In the time of Christ and a little further into the time of after the Apostles -- there was a day, now it is a night. The night has already lasted more than a millennium. During the night, no one by means of the Holy Spirit will be able to perform any healing. Only one explanation is possible: apparently healings come by a deceptive spirit -- a spirit not from God.
When the night specifically began has little importance compared to it already being here. However, it is easy to see that the night began around 300 AD since the gift of tongues had disappeared at the time of the first Ecumenical Council. In Acts 1, Jesus promises His disciples the gift of the Holy Spirit, which will empower them to spread the gospel to the distant ends of the earth. This gift was intended for use until the end of the day, and the beginning of the night marked the end of the promise of baptism with the Holy Spirit (going forward I refer to it as BwHS). The interesting thing emerges that during the night there will be no healing by means of the healing gift since healing can be done only by means of this gift. The cessation of the promise of BwHS means that none of the gifts of the Holy Spirit will be given in the night, including the gift of healing.
During the night -- at the beginning of the 20th century in 1906 in Los Angeles, California -- there was something called the Azusa Street Revival. There was a so called awakening with manifestations of tongues, and people began to call this BwHS with an evidence of tongues as they thought it was in the day of the Apostles. Christ tells us that there is one day and then one night when the Groom returns at midnight (the Parable of the Ten Virgins). During the night, while the Groom tarries, just like the ten virgins we all currently slumber and sleep (Matthew 25: 5-7). Just as the virgins were all sleeping, so cannot be awakening and BwHS until after the Groom returned. Even then there will not be a time for the BwHS but going home. Those who strive to awaken in practice are acting under the influence of strong delusion. If an actual BwHS were to occur, then the Holy Spirit, who does not change, would have to give all of his gifts and they have to be observed everywhere. This is not happening, only some gifts observed but not all. It is suspicious. If one gift is not given then the other gifts will not be there either. The cessation of the promise of gifts can exist under one condition and that is when the Holy Spirit is taken out of the way. We read in 2Thess. 2:6 And now ye know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time. 7 "For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth [will let], until he be taken out of the way." 8 And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming. What prevents him from being revealed? - the power of the Holy Spirit in the middle of a person. It seems that one even should fallow quickly after another one. So, when Holy Spirit will be taken out of the way the Wicked one will be revealed. Yet, nothing happen so far. The question is: why is that so? The answer is already given: he might be revealed in his own time. Time for his appearance not allowed yet. The Greek o the κατέχων restraining άρτι now έως until εκ out of μέσου the middle γένηται he comes. The word ο κατέχων - the one who holds, where ο is a masculine singular pronominal article that indicates a person. The Holy Spirit or the Spirit of Truth in Greek το πνεũμα της αληθείας is neuter, they say, it does not fit there, where the restraining is a masculine one. Compare the interlinear translation of John. 16:13 όταν when δε έλθη comes εκεινος That, το πνεũμα the Spirit της αληθείας of truth... That or He is described by a masculine singular demonstrative pronoun, and who has a neuter name of the Spirit of Truth, but He Himself is a masculine one, which is quite the same as in ο κατέχων. He who restrains, the Holy Spirit, from the middle comes out.
Satan is not stupid; he knows it is written that the Antichrist will come. Most people, including some Christians, will bow to him. How can this be? That they know about him, but yet they will be deceived??!! Most Christians are sure that they will recognize him. My opinion is that they will be mistaken and deceived. And again, the question is: how can this be? They think "It's just unbelievable that we could be deceived, it can't be!" I will say that by this unbelievable thing they will be deceived. Now, what unbelievable thing could happen that even Christians could be deceived?! This is written in Scripture, and it must be understood correctly.
Most Christians believe that the Holy Spirit cannot be taken out of the way, and that the grace of the Holy Spirit will never run out. Some others believe that the Holy Spirit will be taken from the Earth along with the Church before the coming of the Antichrist. For some Christians, the unbelievable thing means that they do not comprehend how the Holy Spirit could possibly be the Who that is holding back in 2Thess. 2:7 because He does not run out. Yet just this unbelievable thing did happen when the night started...it is not something that has yet to happen before the coming of the Antichrist, when many believe is the time that they will be raptured. When the day ended, the Holy Spirit, Who had been holding back iniquity, was moved out of the way (not out of the Earth entirely) and the night began when no man could work because BwHS would no longer be possible.
Many Christians say they will be raptured before the coming of the Antichrist. They point out to 1 Thess. 4:16 "For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: 17 Then we which are alive [and] remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord." There is error in the belief that a Rapture will happen before the arrival of the Antichrist because Christians will all be resurrected in the first resurrection and it will be one event for them (both the dead in Christ and the living) -- on the last day. With the erroneous concept, they believe the resurrection will not be only on the last day, as one event, and that after the Rapture there will still be many more days of the Antichrist's rule to come. In other words, this Rapture of the Church is mistakenly seen as something separate from the last day resurrection -- as a separate event entirely. In John 6:44 we read "No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day." The last day is after the arrival of the Antichrist and this day will be the last day indeed. THEREFORE, such a point of view is erroneous and the point of view of those who believe the Holy Spirit cannot be holding back is erroneous too, because He does not run out. They also forget that, although He does not run out, the Holy Spirt can be taken out of the way from man. The only question is: where and how?
There are two environments where the Holy Spirit can be in relation to a person: the Holy Spirit can be with a person and the Holy Spirit can be in a person. Christ spoke about it in John 14:17 "...for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you." "With you" means He is not in them but near them, and "shall be in you" means the Holy Spirit is actually inside of a person. It is not rocket science to see that on the day of Pentecost the Holy Spirit was actually inside of people. BwHS was (in those days), not currently is (in these days), coming of the Holy Spirit directly inside of a person -- in a man's spirit with a gift from Him. Though the Holy Spirit no longer dwells inside of people (as it is night), the Holy Spirit will always be there -- dwelling with this person or with another person nearby. Rest assured, He is still with us and will be always.
There is a popular misunderstanding among Christians that the Holy Spirit will be taken away from the Earth completely. It seems that there is an incorrect understanding of 2Thess. 2:7, even though it says plainly He will be "taken out of the way" -- not from the Earth entirely. Another passage from John 14:16 "...he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you forever." As we can see, He cannot be taken away from us because he will be "with you forever." This means the Holy Spirit will never depart completely a person on Earth -- and only one thing remains from where he can be taken away from a person (from being "in you") when he is no longer be inside of a person. The Greek word for "the way" is translated incorrectly in English...in Greek this word is μέσος (mezos) - middle, or an interior of the person. To be exact, it implies human spirit: until he be taken out of the middle. Who is keeping the Antichrist from coming and at the same time being in the middle, men or something else? Only one -- the Holy Spirit. He will be taken out from the middle of a person, from the human spirit, therefore there will be no BwHS, and together with it there will be no healing gift.
For the Apostles, after the day of Pentecost to heal meant -- to have the healing gift which was divided by the Holy Spirit in connection with BwHS. The Holy Spirit did not change since Pentecost and His gifts did not change either. If there are gifts, all gifts would have to be observed (not just some) when there is BwHS as it is listed in 1Cor. 12th chapter. If one of the gifts is lacking, the other gifts will not be there either. Thus, it is a direct point that in the last days BwHS will not be going on because the Holy Spirit have been taken out of the middle from the spirit of man. Thus, He cannot divide His gifts, including the gift of healing and the gift of tongues. Why, you may ask, did I pay so much attention to these two gifts? Well, history shows that tongues vanished away around 300AD.This is a major sign that the Holy Spirit was taken out of the way some time before 300AD. At the same time, all the gifts disappeared including the gift of healing. In other words, for a long time now humanity has been living during the night, when there should not be any BwHS.
(See my comments below for continuation ... all of my post would not fit.)
Yet, it appears to so many that BwHS is still going on! While certain miraculous appearing events may indeed be observed, it must be the strong delusion that is operating and cunningly trying to mimic the real BwHS and trying to mimic the real gifts of the Holy Spirit!! This delusion is so strong, that all denominations of believers do not understand it because all fell asleep and it means that the Holy Spirit no longer acts inside humanity. All denominations misunderstand BwHS and how the Holy Spirit acts in a person. All of them are saying they have BwHS and that the Holy Spirit is able to be in the middle of the spirit of man. They incorrectly believe that they can currently be filled with the Holy Spirit, can prophesy, can cast out devils and can heal. Therefore, all of them cannot be excluded from saying as it is in Matthew 7:22-23: Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name have done many wonderful works? And then I will profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity. By the way, the strong delusion does not mean that all are going to perish, it is going to be decision of Christ not ours. However, Christ does NOT know those who work iniquity. Not all will listen to seductive spirits even though currently they may be mistaken in respect to BwHS due to not understanding the Scripture.
Now, how can this incredible scenario happen? The most difficult thing is that most people do not suspect how the Antichrist can deceive so many, if possible deceive even the elect. Everyone knows that the Antichrist is coming, it is no big secret at all, and so what does he have to do in order do not raise suspicion of his crafty plan? He has to become as one of them -- go undercover if you will. Because they received not the love of the truth that the Holy Spirit was taken out of the way -- out from the middle of the spirit of man -- God will send them strong delusion in such a way that they will receive a deceiving spirit instead of the Holy Spirit.
For centuries already, the denominations have become used to this stealthy, deceiving, spirit mimicking the Holy Spirit and faking the works of the Holy Spirit!! They know the deceivers coming very well and all the powers that appear to come with him... they can sense him and the deceiver appears to be the true Holy Spirit to them. What a majorly sophisticated and sickeningly evil con this is!!!
Now, when "another shall (the Antichrist) come", do you think he is going to say "Hey everyone, I'm the Antichrist that you have all read about in your Bibles!!?" No!! He is going to say "I AM THE CHRIST and I will PROVE it to you...I will prove that the One who came 2,000 years back was NOT the REAL Christ!" Now, how can this be possible? Possibly like this...he will say something like "I am going to fill you with the spirit, and you tell me if it is the Holy Spirit by whom you are used to being filled with throughout your whole lives?" After experiencing what is perhaps to be the intoxicating filling of the deceptive spirit, they will say "Yes, He is the Same One!" To which the Antichrist will say, "Now, tell me WHO exactly filled you with the Holy Spirit???" Many of them will profess to the Antichrist "YOU are the Christ!" May God have mercy on them!
External assistance of the Holy Spirit will never be taken away while people are on the Earth, but BwHS must stop when the Holy Spirit is taken out of the way (again, out of the middle or from spirit of man). It is extremely important to be able to differentiate and understand that external assistance of the Holy Spirit and BwHS are two different things. BwHS is an action of the Holy Spirit from inside man...when the Holy Spirit goes inside of a person and gives that person access to gifts through which the person is supernaturally empowered to do this miraculous work or that other miraculous action. External assistance of the Holy Spirit on a person could be, for example, the birth from above, a reinforcement of faith, guiding, opening their understanding of both God and Scripture -- this is all the outside influence of the Holy Spirit and is not given through the gift of the Holy Spirit. There is the erroneous understanding that if a person is BwHS that only then will he be of the open mind to have knowledge of both God and Scripture. It is NOT correct!! Even during the days of Apostols before being BwHS, the Holy Spirit was opening mind of a person that he is a sinner and needs a salvation. Now days as it is night, there is no true BwHS and there has not been for centuries! However, we can be comforted in knowing that the Holy Spirit is with us on Earth and continuously affects humanity...opening their minds to the knowledge that they are lost sinners in need of God.... among many other wonderful blessings!
Christ told the Pharisees in Matthew 23:38 "Behold, your house is left unto you desolate." Christ does not mean it WILL be left desolate later at some other time, but that it IS NOW ALREADY left desolate. However, the Pharisees could not, or perhaps would not, accept in their minds that their temple could even BE left by God. "God will never leave US!" they must have exclaimed amongst themselves. They could not understand that God would not actually leave, or abandon, them but that He could indeed leave their temple and no longer return to live inside of it. This happened not instantly but gradually over the centuries and yet still so fast that nobody blinked an eye. Ancient people thought they were armed with the Word of God; that they knew Scripture well and thoroughly, and yet they saw nothing specific in Scripture telling them that their temple could be empty. Yet indeed it became empty...and no one noticed or so much as blinked an eye.
Solomon said in Ecclesiastes 1:10 "Is there [any] thing whereof it may be said, See, this [is] new? it hath been already of old time, which was before us." It cannot come to the minds of today's modern Pharisees that their minds, their temples, could have been left by the Holy Spirit...and left long, long ago. It seems to them, exactly as it did to the Pharisees of the ancient world that in their each individual temple the Holy Spirit still dwells. Yet, the Holy Spirit has in fact not lived in their temples for a very long time. They continue to say things like "The Holy Spirit will never leave us...after all, we are armed with the New Testament...we know it well and thoroughly and nothing specifies in it that our temple can be empty." Yet, their temple did indeed become empty and they, like their predecessors, did not notice. Because they did not love this truth, gradually throughout the millennia, the strong action of delusion so distorted the doctrine about BwHS that all of them consider the Holy Spirit to still be in them. In fact, He has not been present in them for centuries. It cannot be grasped by them that the Holy Spirit could possibly have left the temple of mankind long ago, but yet could still be present with them on Earth. There is nothing new under the sun that has not been since of old.
P.S. When I say that the gift of healing is no longer going on, it is necessary to consider one detail. It is written: "I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day..." (John 9:4) Christ did His healings by the will of the Father Who sent Him and with help of the Holy Spirit. Christ said that when the night would come that then no one would be able to work...that it would be impossible for anyone to be working the will of the Father through means of the healing gift. This does not exclude that in the night somebody else could be doing a different kind of healing.... healing which will NOT be the will of the Father and WITHOUT support of the Holy Spirit. How can this be? Because of the action of strong delusion.
Of course, it being night does not exclude that God can choose to heal and cure people through their faith in Him...this would be without the healing gift being applied. In other words, God heals even today -- not through the healing gift -- but by faith. In practice, God's instantaneous healings occur rarely and He considers if He will find faith on the Earth.
In general, there is not much more for me to speak about in this particular writing. I cannot point out every time when I say that in the night nobody will be able to do healing, it has to be understood in that way.
